Assalamualkium DAS Students!
As Ramadan draws to a close, so are our odd nights. As you know, the odd nights on the last 10 days of Ramadan are incredibly important since there is a chance that any one of those nights can be Layat Al Qadr, the night where the Quran was revealed to the Prophet (SAW), or as it is called, the Night of Power. During Layat Al Qadr, a person’s good deeds can be multiplied to the equivalent of a thousand months of good deeds, and all your duaas may be answered.
The 27th night is special for a reason; It is one of the odd nights that is speculated to be Laylat Al Qadr. Make sure not to lose this chance as a Muslim and head out to the local Masjid if you can, set your intentions, pray taraweeh and tahajjudd, give charity, make duaa for you and your loved ones.
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven, and whoever stood for the prayers in the night of Qadr out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven ."
